This weekend Tanner was in Vegas for his brother's bachelor party.  Friday and Saturday night were the first two nights I have ever spent alone with Hannah, which seems so weird.  I loved spending the whole weekend with her, and all the quality time was much needed after I missed her like crazy when I was in DC last week.

She is so sweet and such a joy to be around right now.  She constantly has me laughing and pulling out my phone to document her antics.  Here are some low-quality iphone pictures of what she has been up to over the last few weeks.

Another Lazy Sunday - In Photos

After a last minute trip to DC at the end of last week, it was nice to have a low key weekend.  Yesterday we did not even leave the house until it was time to go to church at 4:30.

Hannah is obsessed with her magnetic letters right now.  She carries them around with her all over the house.  Then she will hand one of them to Tanner and me, eager for us to identify it for her.  Yesterday she even developed an affinity for the box that they are stored in (or should be, right now they are pretty much strewn all over our house).

Double Fisting

Sometimes one sippy cup just isn't enough, a girl needs water to chase her milk.

And sometimes, you just have to wear Vilma's visor upside down...

I took Tuesday off to take Hannah to her first dentist appointment.  At first, the dentist's office was a big hit (pardon the blurry iphone pics).

It went downhill quickly when she had to stop playing with her toys.  Her picture for her dentist chart, that the office sweetly emailed later in the day, is probably not going to win her any modeling gigs.

After that we went and had her blood taken to be tested for lead and some other things the doctor mentioned that I have since forgotten.  How much fun can two people have when a mommy takes the day off, you must be asking yourself.  I was curious how they draw blood from a one year old.  After seriously using every bit of strength I had holding one Hannah hand and arm down and the other out of the way, while the nurse pricked her inner elbow and she screamed as if she was being held down against her will and stabbed with a sharp object, I now know.

By the end of these fun excursions, we were exhausted.  One of us got to take a nap afterwards.  It was not me.
